Preheat the waffle iron to the highest temperature. Then use a mixer to mix the butter or margarine in a bowl, until smooth, add all other ingredients and stir until you have a smooth dough. Now reduce the waffle iron to medium temperature and, if needed, grease it. Add 2 tbsp. of dough per waffle and bake the waffles until they are golden yellow in colour. If you want, you can sprinkle some icing sugar onto the waffles before eating.
